Adult Discipleship

With the promise of His presence and under His authority,

Jesus commands the church to be about making disciples.

We take Jesus' commands seriously and we trust in His promises and His authority completely.

So how do we make disciples who make disciples?

Gathering together for worship on Sunday morning is a great first step.

But we need more...

Men's and Women's Ministries

Clay: Women Molded by the Potter

On alternating Tuesdays beginning September 22 at either 9:30am or 6:30pm, ladies are invited to gather primarily outdoors for community, a short time of learning shared by a fellow friend, and time for discussion and catching up! Children are welcome to come play in the yard, but no supervision will be provided (everyone will need to keep an eye on their own kids). Bring a chair and some coffee and enjoy some time getting to know other women in our church and community. Clay will meet in Rachel Fincham's yard (817 River St, Iowa Falls).

Shine Bible Study for Women

The Shine Women's Bible Study will meet on alternating Thursdays for six sessions, beginning September 10 at 9:30am.

During this study, ladies will read "The Prodigal Prophet" by Tim Keller. While studying the book of Jonah in the Old Testament, Keller makes the case that Jonah was one of the worst prophets in the Bible. And yet, there are very clear connections between Jonah, the prodigal son, and Jesus. How could one of the most defiant and disobedient prophets be compared to Jesus? Come and study this Old Testament book with us. There's so much more to Jonah's story than most of us realize.

Shine will meet at the church building. Social distancing will be followed. No childcare available.

Men's Ministry

The men just finished a study on Psalm 23. Contact Pastor Stan at  PastorStan.IowaFalls@gmail.com for more information about upcoming men's ministry events.

Life Groups

Because we believe that people grow when they are connected to God's Word and God's people, our goal is to have every adult in our church family involved in a life group. Our groups typically meet weekly with their study being connected to Sunday mornings sermon. The goal of life groups is to establish life-changing relationships and grow toward maturity in Christ together.

For more information about when groups meet or to learn a little about the leaders, click here. Plans are being made for life groups to begin meeting together again this fall. If you have additional questions, contact Pastor Stan Johnson.

Sunday School

For most of the year, we have classes available for adults during the Sunday School hour (9:00am on Sundays). Once social restrictions are lifted, we will update this information with the classes available.

Free Church 101

Want to learn more about what we believe and why we believe it?  Interested in becoming a member of Iowa Falls Evangelical Free Church?  We typically offer this class during the Sunday School hour once/year.  Send an email to Pastor Jeremy Nelson for more information.
