Adult Discipleship

With the promise of His presence and under His authority,

Jesus commands the church to be about making disciples.

We take Jesus' commands seriously and we trust in His promises and His authority completely.

So how do we make disciples who make disciples?

Gathering together for worship on Sunday morning is a great first step.

But we need more...

Men's and Women's Ministries

Women's Bible Studies

For the winter of 2022, women are invited to come learn from Genesis 12-50, using Jen Wilken's God of Covenant study.

There are no minor characters in the story of God. Beginning with Genesis 12, walk alongside the fathers of our faith-Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph-to discern Jesus in the stories of His people. Over 10 sessions, discover how God orchestrates everything for His glory and the good of His people, and see how the God of creation and covenant is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

There will be two sessions of this study:

Monday Nights

Begins January 10

will meet weekly

Thursday Mornings (Shine Women's Bible Study)

Begins January 13

will meet weekly

To register for either study, click here or sign up on the sheet on the welcome counter at the church building.

Clay: Women Molded by the Potter

For the winter of 2022, we will not have a Tuesday morning women's book club or Bible study. We encourage you to join one of the Bible studies listed above!

Men's Ministry

Men's Discipleship Groups, small groups of 2-3 men, are now meeting regularly. If you would like to join a group, please contact Pastor Jeremy.

About once a month, we have a Men's Breakfast on a Saturday morning. Please check our online calendar for the date of the next breakfast.

GriefShare is a support group for those who have lost a loved one. The last session met in the fall of 2021. Please call the church office for details on when the next session will begin.

Sunday School

During the Sunday School hour on Sunday mornings (9:00-9:55am).

Life Groups

Because we believe that people grow when they are connected to God's Word and God's people, our goal is to have almost every adult in our church family involved in a Life Group. Our groups typically meet weekly with their study being connected to Sunday morning's sermon. The goal of Life Groups is to establish life-changing relationships and grow toward maturity in Christ together.

For more information about when groups meet or to learn a little about the leaders, click here. Most Life Groups will begin again in September. Please contact the church office for more information about joining a group.

Sunday School

We have Sunday School classes at 9:00am from ages preschool-adult during the school year. Nursery is also available during this hour, as well.

Free Church 101

Want to learn more about what we believe and why we believe it?  Interested in becoming a member of Iowa Falls Evangelical Free Church?  We typically offer this class during the Sunday School hour once/year.  Send an email to Pastor Jeremy Nelson for more information.
