Adult Discipleship

With the promise of His presence and under His authority,

Jesus commands the church to be about making disciples.

We take Jesus' commands seriously and we trust in His promises and His authority completely.

So how do we make disciples who make disciples?

Gathering together for worship on Sunday morning is a great first step.

But we need more...

Men's and Women's Ministries

Clay: Women Molded by the Potter

This fall, Clay will be a book club format and all women are invited to join us! Led by LeAnn Strother, this group will be reading The Wisdom Pyramid: Feeding Your Soul in a Post-Truth World by Brett McCracken.

In a world where accessing an "endless stream of addictive information" has never been easier, The Wisdom Pyramid suggests that we become healthy when we reorient our lives around God.

Clay will meet at Maya Van Voorst's home just outside of Iowa Falls on alternating Tuesdays from 9:30-11:00am beginning September 14. We are glad we can also provide childcare during Clay!

Shine Bible Study for Women

Shine will begin again on Thursday, September 9. Shine meets on alternating Thursdays from 9:30-11:00am.

For the fall, these ladies will be going through the study, Who is Jesus? by Louie Giglio.

Men's Ministry

Men's Discipleship Groups, small groups of 2-3 men, are now meeting regularly. If you would like to join a group, please contact Pastor Jeremy.

About once a month, we have a Men's Breakfast on a Saturday morning. Please check our online calendar for the date of the next breakfast.

GriefShare

It is hard to lose a loved one. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.

A new session of GriefShare will be held at our church building on Thursdays from 4:00-6:00pm. The group will meet weekly from September 9-December 9. This fall, the group will be lead by Donna Crosser and Barb Carlson. Join us any Thursday you are able.

Life Groups

Because we believe that people grow when they are connected to God's Word and God's people, our goal is to have almost every adult in our church family involved in a Life Group. Our groups typically meet weekly with their study being connected to Sunday morning's sermon. The goal of Life Groups is to establish life-changing relationships and grow toward maturity in Christ together.

For more information about when groups meet or to learn a little about the leaders, click here. Most Life Groups will begin again in September. Please contact the church office for more information about joining a group.

Sunday School

We have Sunday School classes at 9:00am from ages preschool-adult during the school year. Sunday School is not meeting in July and August to give our teachers a break. Classes will resume again on Sunday, September 12, 2021.

Free Church 101

Want to learn more about what we believe and why we believe it?  Interested in becoming a member of Iowa Falls Evangelical Free Church?  We typically offer this class during the Sunday School hour once/year.  Send an email to Pastor Jeremy Nelson for more information.
